The Big Ski Trip

On  the 31st of July Room Nui left school at 9:00 in the morning to go to Wanaka. I went in Mrs McKenzie's car. Our first stop was at Alexandra for something to eat, a play and a toilet stop. Then we got back in our cars, we then went to the Clyde dam for lunch. Our next stop was at the toy museum  YAY!!!!!!!!!!

When we all got in the door we sat down and Mrs S gave Room Nui a treasure hunt to do. We saw Barbie dolls, Sylvanians, old cars, fire trucks, old ambulances,  heaps of old things. When we were all done we met everyone at the shop at the museum. Then we got our cars and headed to the Lakeview Holiday Park.

When we got there we got all our stuff in our room, made our bed and went for a walk to the park. We played for a while. We walked back and had tea. Later we got our PJs on and went to bed .

The next morning we got up got dressed and had breakfast and went to the ski field, it was cold. We went to get our gear ready. We got our lessons started. After the lessons we got to go with a parent and go on the lift. After we skied we gave all our gear back and headed for home.

I really enjoyed our trip to Wanaka and skiing. I am looking forward to going again.
